A home in Pittsburgh, Ohio was in need of waterproofing work. The home was built in 1971 and purchased by homeowners in 1990. Throughout the years, cracks formed at the bottom where the floors and walls meet, and it was leaving water stains on the floor. Water would make puddles and make its way to personal belongings, damaging them. The homeowners became frustrated and attempted to solve the problem externally, but it did not work. The Basement Guys of Pittsburgh were contacted for a free estimate. One of our waterproofing representatives visited the home and examined the water damage and seepage in the basement. It was determined that a below-floor drain would solve the problem, and the representative quoted them for our WaterGuard® Below Floor Drain. It would be hooked up to their sump pump and would collect any water that seeped inside. The representative also quoted them for sealing cracks they found while examining the space. The couple liked what was quoted and decided to go with us for the job, and they are expected to have work done this month.
