The Basement Guys® of Pittsburgh

Homeowners in Pittsburgh were looking to have their basement finished. The house was built in the 1920s and the basement was unfinished, mainly used as a laundry and storage area. It had some water issues that we solved several years prior with a drain system and sump pump. But after the pandemic forced the husband to work from home indefinitely, separate office space was needed. The husband and wife wanted to transform the basement into several different rooms. One for laundry, one for an office and another as a bedroom. They also wanted to include a half bathroom. 

The Basement Guys of Pittsburgh were called to give them a free estimate, and one of our representatives visited their house to assess the basement and discuss what we had to offer for basement finishing. The representative talked about how the products we use are specifically made for basement environments, and make the basement look beautiful. The estimate included new walls, painting, adding hardwood flooring, plumbing, electrical, and a drop ceiling on part of the basement. 

After planning and sketching the design, our team was scheduled to complete the job. White paint was chosen for the walls, and a nice light brown hardwood flooring was installed.
