The Basement Guys® of Pittsburgh

In the Mars, PA area, a homeowner reached out to The Basement Guys of Pittsburgh for help with his basement walls. Two of them were bowing inward and had cracks everywhere. Water would occasionally leak inside after heavy rains, causing a wet basement environment. The walls were not bad enough to tear and rebuild but needed a solution to strengthen, support, and prevent water from seeping inside.

Our representative talked to him about sealing cracks and installing Rhino® Carbon Fiber Wall Supports. The supports are affixed to walls using an epoxy resin to stabilize and in some cases, move the wall back as time goes on. The representative also talked to him about a baseboard drain system. It would collect any water that seeps in even after the repair, and take the water to the sump pump. 

The homeowner liked what we had to offer and scheduled our team to complete the job. The basement walls received 8 Carbon Fiber® Straps, and a drain system was installed and hooked up to the sump pump.
